The Rose of Tralee is now hip with the cool kids

The Rose of Tralee international festival are now hip with the cool kids and have leaped on the Snapchat bandwagon.

The world famous festival has curated a dedicated social media team this year (*cough* including yours truly *cough*) to keep their thousands of fans and viewers all over the world up to date with everything rosey.

In the last year the festival has grown; their Facebook page has nearly 30,000 fans with posts reaching over 20k users.

They currently have 7,670 twitter followers and 'Rose of Tralee' is mentioned on Twitter 365 days a year every year.

The Snapchat account will give followers the opportunity to view behind the scenes of the five-day international festival.
