Hobbit's Jackson goes undercover at Comic Con

Hobbit director Peter Jackson has gone undercover at Comic Con in San Diego.

Jackson revealed on his Facebook page he dressed up as an evil jester and walked the convention floor incognito.

He says: "I had a fun day at Comic Con walking among you all. Did anyone see the Evil Jester? Some of you did because you asked him to pose for pics!"

With his mask off, Jackson also treated fans to footage from "The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies".

And Cate Blanchett - who plays Galadriel - says she was just as keen to see it as everyone else.

"We were all craning our necks trying to see (the footage), because we haven't seen anything," she said.

"Peter's immensely proud of it, which he doesn't often say about things that he's done," she said.
