Today’s cancelled Garth Brooks concert is making Twitter very sad
Unless you have been living under a rock you will know today was supposed to be the opening night of the five cancelled Garth Brooks shows at Croke Park.
The concerts were axed after a licence was only granted by Dublin City Council for three of the five shows and then Aiken Promotions and Brooks failed to agree a compromise.

We won’t drag you through the ins and outs of the fallout again, but needless to say it was extensive over the last month.
With today being July 25, the first 80,000 people would have planned to make their way to Dublin for the opening concert tonight.
Even this reporter had a ticket for tonight!
With the good weather adding to fans' woes, they have taken to Twitter to wallow in the fact the shows are now not taking place.
Cant get over that this Weekend could have been an amazing weekend in Dublin, the weather would have been perfect! #GarthBrooks #couldvebeen
