Creepy dolls left outside family homes said to be ‘gesture of goodwill’

Some families in Orange County, California were understandably freaked out when porcelain dolls began appearing outside their homes

Up to 11 of the dolls were left outside the houses of eight different families in San Clemente and were said to resemble the little girls who live there.

How creepy is that.

No notes or threatening messages were left with the dolls but the families of the little girls - all about 10-years-old and some of whom went to the same school - were concerned.

Police last night said they had located the woman responsible and said that she had left them there as a ‘gesture of goodwill’

“Investigators have concluded that her motivation was out of goodwill and that she intended it as a kind gesture,” a news release from the Sheriff’s Department stated.

Right…

We're sure she meant well but that's the kind of goodwill we could do without.
