Shocking accident video shows biker punted through the air on to car roof

A motorcyclist in Australia found himself involved in a pretty serious road collision - while wearing his helmet camera.

The video appears to show the motorcyclist proceeding behind a car in traffic, only to be struck from behind with enough force to send him hurtling through the air and on to the roof of the car in front of him.

Posted to Reddit videos yesterday, it's shocking stuff.

Some viewers may find this distressing.

The uploader, madchodo, wrote that he "got all kinds of f@$ked up by a P plater [learner driver]."

"Should have lane split! Rules can be broken to save your life", he said, referring to the practice of two-wheeled vehicles passing stopped traffic by moving into the space between lanes.
