Unsuspecting cinema-goers in Hong Kong got a taste of just how dangerous it can be in this very clever awareness campaign run by Volkswagen.

Using a local area broadcasting machine to force a text message to everyone in the cinema, the advert diverts the users' attention away for just a second.
