Farm creates crazy 'No Diggity' parody video
A farm in Idaho has created a parody rap video to promote its upcoming vegetable and plant sale.
Dressed in crazy costumes, staff at Peaceful Belly Farm (what a name!) perform a custom version of 'No Diggity' by Blackstreet. They cleverly rewrote the lyrics to better fit their organic and GMO-free produce.
"I like the way you grow it --- No pesticides! I gotta box it up,
I like the way you grow it --- So locally! I gotta box it up."
Josie Erskine, who owns the farm, told New York Daily News that the concept happened organically (no pun intended).
"When the music started playing, the staff started to each come up with fun ideas like putting sunglasses on tomatoes," she said.
"It all started to come together. We said yes to every idea even if it sounded crazy. (One person) said, 'I'll twerk,' and we said, 'OK that's a great idea.' We thought, if we said yes to everything, what would it look like?"
Pretty crazy but a lot of fun, as it turned out!
Here's the original, for comparison.
We almost prefer Peaceful Belly's!
