This is painfully accurate.

This video spoofing what Irish girls (Cork girls, in particular) are thinking when they're texting their (potential) fella is brilliant.

Geraldine McAleese, (the alter ego of YouTuber, Jonny Buckley) takes us through what happens when she has to respond to a text fom a guy she's started seeing.

NSFW language:

From waiting the right amount of time before responding (30 minutes, apparently) to AGONISING over use of commas and exclamation marks, Buckley, in a spot-on Cork accent, gets it all right.

And don't even get us started on the number of Xs to use!
