VIDEO: 'Flash mob for Amy' - terminally ill woman gets a wonderful surprise from everyone she loves

Amy has been fighting ovarian cancer since 2012.

Last October, she learned that it had become terminal. Her family don’t know how long they have left with her so in order to celebrate her and to show their love and support, they organised this surprise flashmob.

On May 10, the day before her 56th birthday, 50 of her closest family and friends came together from five different US states to perform this choreographed dance to disco classic, ‘the Best of My Love’. One of the participants then posted the video to Vimeo. It's been viewed more than 170,000 times.

While we don't know her surname or where she's from, we do know that Amys motto is ‘while we live, let us live’ and her reaction to seeing all her loved ones come together to dance for her shows that she lives by her motto.

Watch. Cry. Laugh. Cry again.
