Radio's rural soap approaches Morrissey

Chart star Morrissey has revealed he has been approached to appear on Radio 4’s rural soap The Archers.

The former Smiths frontman is a prominent vegetarian and vocal opponent of the livestock industry, who has been known to ban meat products from venues at which he performs.
