Kylie Voice absence 'a little hiatus'
Singer Kylie Minogue could return to ‘The Voice’, with her tour just a “hiatus” from the show, its executive producer has said.
The star, 45, announced last month that she was quitting the TV singing contest after just one series to concentrate on her own music career.
She said at the time: “I’m sad to say that, due to the timing of my European tour, I won’t be back for season four. I absolutely loved my time on the show, and I’ll miss all of the incredible people who were a part of my experience.”
The BBC is committed to a further two series of ‘The Voice’.

Moira Ross, the show’s executive producer, told TV Times: “Kylie’s doing her world tour, so she’s not available for series four’s filming dates.
“But hopefully we’ll have her back for series five. So it’s a little hiatus.”
Minogue joined the third series along with fellow show newcomer Ricky Wilson, the Kaiser Chiefs frontman.
Appearing alongside Tom Jones and will.i.am, who have been coaches since the show began in 2012, she was credited with making this year’s series a success.
But Ross told the magazine: “I wouldn’t say Kylie was the saviour of it. ‘The Voice UK’ wasn’t in a place where it needed saving.”
Her debut appearance helped attract 8.4m viewers, two million more than in the previous year, when the line-up featured singer Jessie J and The Script frontman Danny O’Donoghue, alongside Jones and will.i.am.
