Katie's ex offers support

Alex Reid has offered his ex-wife Katie Price his support following her husband Kieran Hayler's alleged affair.

The cage-fighter claims he's "there" for the 35-year-old star after she revealed yesterday her beau had allegedly been cheating on her with her best friend.

Alex, who married Katie in 2010 before divorcing her two years later, told the MailOnline: "I am really sad for Katie. This is a terrible thing to happen and I am here for her if she needs me. I want to let bygones be bygones despite what has happened between us.

"The sad thing is, Katie has always struggled with trust issues, this is something that came up between us when we were together.

"And now it appears that she has been cheated on."

Katie took to her Twitter account yesterday to blast her "disgusting" husband, with whom she has eight-month-old son Jett, and announce that she was divorcing him.

Just hours later, the reality TV star reportedly stormed round to her accused friend Jane Pountney's house for an argument, before being escorted out three hours later by her ex-pal's husband Derrick.

The former glamour model, who has just found out she's six months pregnant with Kieran's second child, later released a statement on her official website, claiming her outburst on Twitter was a sign of her "heart breaking".

Katie, who also has children Harvey, 11, Junior, eight, and Princess, six, from previous relationships, married Kieran in January 2013, just a few months after they began dating.
