Pre-Potter books to be turned into trilogy

Three new Harry Potter spin-off films are in the works.

Author JK Rowling wrote 'Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find them' in 2001.

It was revealed last year that the book would be adapted for the big screen but now the New York Times reports that it will actually be turned into three films.

The trilogy will focus on a character called Newt Scamander, and is set about 70 years before Harry is born.
