American Embassy claims it invented St Patrick's Day

Oh dear, oh dear. We've got a fight on our hands, folks.

Here, lads. The US embassy in Dublin has put out a video for Paddy's Day - and it's called "Five Ways Americans Invented St Patrick's Day".

Them's fightin' words.

Featuring Joe Duffy, who tells us the tale of his uncle who accidentally drove a tractor into the parade and has a few choice words for green beer, and the claim that Americans were the first to make everything green.

To quote the Dubliner at 1:17 - wha?
