Audio: BOD plays a blinder on TodayFM

As if we didn't know already, Brian O'Driscoll demonstrated his legendary status today by surprising a fan on radio.

It started with an email to the Ray D'Arcy Show from Niall, who's the husband of massive Brian O'Driscoll fan Michelle. They were both at Saturday's game and tried to get a glimpse of the man himself at the team dinner afterwards.

Michelle, who has had so many failed attempts to meet BOD, didn't get to meet her hero that night "as we figured he probably left earlier with the day that was in it".

And yet looking at the photo below she was so close.

Niall's mate Graham, who is in the pic with Michelle and Joe Schmidt, told them to zoom in over Michelle's head.

As Niall said: "I did and to my horror it's BOD!!!!!"

Ray spoke to the couple this morning and the man himself broke off from his late breakfast to ring in for a chat too.

BOD was very apologetic: "I'm sorry I missed you on Saturday, I didn't vanish off early, I was the last one on the bus.

"We'll have to sort out the picture another time." Michelle was quick enough to chip in: "Oh Brian, any time."

The Irish centre then talked about last Saturday while keeping an eye on Sadie who was "ripping the place up here", according to her dad.

He even slags off Ray for sounding like ROG. Class! Have a listen.
