Oasis 'will reunite', says man with silly name

Former Oasis guitarist Bonehead thinks Liam Gallagher will definitely reunite the band one day.

The 48-year-old musician, real name Paul Arthurs, was the super-group's original guitarist from their inception until 1999 when he quit.

Bonehead has remained friendly with Liam and joined his new group Beady Eye for a handful of live appearances, including at a tribute concert for the late Charlatans drummer John Brookes, and after spending a lot of time with him recently he knows his passion for Oasis is still there.

Bonehead told NME magazine: "If someone said, 'Here's a field, here's a stage and here's 200,000 people,' I'm sure Liam would jump up and do it, and I don't think it would even take anyone offering him a massive bankroll of money. He'd do it because that's what he loves, that's his passion."

However, Bonehead isn't convinced Liam's brother Noel is as keen on a reunion because he is content with his solo career since he quit the band in August 2009 following a backstage bust-up with his sibling.

Bonehead added: "As far as Noel goes, I saw him in Glasgow with the High Flying Birds, but we didn't speak about reunions ... With Noel, I only know what I read in the press, and from what I read it sounds like a 'no'."
