Meet the Holderness family.

They're from Raleigh, North Carolina.

Dad Penn is an all-American news anchor who's the bulb off of Jon Stewart, Mom Kim is a fetching strawberry blonde with a bit part in Iron Man 3, and the kids (Lola and Charles)… well, we're not going to say anything snide about the kids because that's not nice and besides, they're cute.

Anyhoo - the Holdernesses (or 'Holdernii' as Dad insists on calling them) are currently tearing up the internet with the below offering - #XMAS JAMMIES.

In which they take the concept of the cringeworthy family Christmas card to a WHOLE NEW LEVEL. With a video version. Dressed in matching festive pajamas. To the tune of Will Smith's 'Miami'. For three minutes and 38 seconds.

We're torn in breakingnews.ie towers - between those of us who think it's cute, adorable and funny, and those of us (me) who can't watch more than five seconds of it without thoughts of driving a JCB through the Holderness house.

The kicker - it comes at the end, for anyone who couldn't make it that far - is that it's all a publicity stunt for Mom and Dad's new venture.

Yep, he's quit his job at a news station and they are going to work together to make viral videos.
