Ora set for 'Fifty Shades' role

Rita Ora has joined the cast of 'Fifty Shades of Grey'.

The 'R.I.P.' singer will play the adopted sister of lead character Christian Grey in the erotic thriller, based on the hugely successful novel by E.L. James, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Pop singer Rita will star alongside Jamie Dornan, who plays Christian and Dakota Johnson who will portray his lover, Anastasia Steele.

Rita, 23, has previously made an appearance in British film 'Spivs' when she was 14, and reportedly beat Rihanna to win a cameo role in 'Fast and Furious 6', where she impressed co-star Vin Diesel with her performance.

Vin said: "We wanted somebody who represented today's London and have that presence to kick off a race of that style and she was just perfect and she was game to do it.

"We were lucky to get her and we were lucky that she came in and kicked butt.''

Ora studied acting when she attended the Sylvia Young Theatre School in London as a teenager.

Although her focus remains on singing, the star has said she would one day like to act more with her dream being to appear in a James Bond film.

She said: "Acting is something I'd love to get into eventually, especially action films. I'd be the Bond girl who fights."

'Fifty Shades of Grey' is being directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson in Vancouver, Canada, with a released date set for 2015.
