Angelina Jolie looks amazing as Disney's most terrifying villain

Admit it: your inner five-year-old is still scared.

Disney have just released a new trailer for Maleficent, the 2014 film centred around the life and times of their scariest villain ever.

If you need a refresher on those childhood memories, Maleficent was the sorceress who called herself the "mistress of all evil" and cursed Sleeping Beauty in the 1959 animated film.

Now, she's getting her own film to expand on the character. And it looks slick.

Jolie looks the part, we have to admit.

Some of the team members for this movie come from the Alice in Wonderland crew, continuing the current fad of reimagining classic tales. But that's ok, we reckon: Maleficent is one of those iconic villains who was missing a bit of depth. In the original story she curses a baby girl because she wasn't invited to the christening - a bit severe.
