Kanye snubbed 'American Idol' spot to keep 'street cred'

Kanye West seriously considered becoming a judge on 'American Idol'.

The 'Black Skinhead' rapper, whose reality TV star girlfriend, Kim Kardashian, gave birth to their first child, North West, in June, was recently offered a spot on the judging panel of the FOX series for its 13th season but turned it down, as he was worried it would damage his reputation.
