Bland, Oz, will 'twin', with Dull, Scotland, and Boring, USA

The Australian shire of Bland is to twin with Scottish village Dull and US community Boring.

Delegates from the Aussie area – where the motto is Bland by name but not by nature - were quick to set up a collaboration between the three places after hearing that Dull and Boring were joining forces.

Gail Platz, Bland ambassador, said: “Dull is beautiful. We are excited about teaming up with it and Boring.

"We want to make people aware of our name too.”

Dull is to host Boring in October and a flag has been created especially for the occasion.
