Ben & Jerry's release 'Vincent Brownie' flavour for marriage equality

We never knew Vincent Browne could be so sweet.

Ben and Jerry's have jumped in on a big campaign to promote marriage equality in Ireland, with personalised tubs of ice cream for celebrities and politicians.

They're looking to encourage famous faces to come out in support of equal marriage rights for same-sex couples, and have made personalised pints of ice cream to hammer the message home.

Apart from the ingenuity of "Vincent Brownie", personal favourites include Michael D Higgin's "Áras an Uachtar-Reoite", Eamon Gilmore's "Labour of Love", Chris O'Dowd's "Cookie O'Dough", and Dara O'Briain's "Choc The Week".

Ben and Jerry's announced they were changing the name of their Mint Chocolate Chunk flavour in Ireland to "EngageMint Party" with a personal message from Jerry, one half of the famous pair.

You can find out more about the campaign on the Marriage Equality Ireland site here.
