Rhys Meyers in talks for 'City of Bones' role

Jonathan Rhys Meyers is in talks to join the cast of 'The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones'.

The 'Bend It Like Beckham' actor will play Valentine Morgenstern, a powerful but insane half-angel - a member of the Shadowhunter warriors - who wants to rid the world of evil at any cost in the big-screen adaptation of Cassandra Clare’s fantasy novel.
