Hemsworth set to star in Spielberg blockbuster

Chris Hemsworth is apparently set to take the lead in Steven 'Spielberg's 'Robopocalypse'.

The 'Thor' star, who recently welcomed his first child with wife Elsa Pataky, is the film-maker’s top choice for the role, which is currently one of the most coveted parts in Hollywood, reports Deadline.

However, the actor, whose other recent film credits include 'Avengers Assemble' and 'Snow White And The Huntsman', has not been officially offered the part yet.

The ’techno thriller’ is based on a novel by Daniel H Wilson about a robot uprising, and humankind’s bid to survive.
