'Muppets' set for sequel
Work on a 'Muppets' movie sequel has already begun.
The Oscar-winning film, which sees Jim Henson's creatures on the big screen for the first time since 1999, has been a huge hit since being released and now original co-writer Nick Stoller and director James Bobin are working on a new script.
It is not known whether fellow co-writer and star of the first movie Jason Segal will be involved in a major role although it is thought he will play some part in the next adventures of Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy.
Segal is a huge fan of the first film and thinks its "the coolest thing ever".
The 'How I Met Your Mother' actor previously said: "I was just so excited for people to see it finally. I couldn't be more proud of the movie.
"I'm so excited for it to come out. Even to have a few clips today, to finally have it out of the edit suite and to give people little bits and bobs - it's the coolest thing ever."
The 31-year-old old star plays Gary, who works alongside Mary (Amy Adams) to raise $10m to save the Muppet Theatre from Tex Richman (Chris Cooper), who wants to demolish the building to drill for oil.
