Louis predicting Cheryl comeback

Louis Walsh thinks Cheryl Cole will return to this year's 'X Factor'.

The Kiltimagh music manager - who has been on the judging panel since the talent show launched in 2004 - believes the Girls Aloud beauty will resume her place after quitting the series last year when she joined the US version of the programme.

Although she was given the axe by 'X Factor' boss Simon Cowell just four days into her American adventure, Louis believes the pair have put their differences aside and Cheryl will now join him, Tulisa Contostavlos and Gary Barlow on this year's panel, replacing former Destiny's Child singer Kelly Rowland.

He said: "I'll tell you who the panel will be. It will be Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh, Tulisa and perhaps Cheryl Cole.

"She could be back. I'm not saying she definitely will but I'd love to see her."

Earlier this month, it was revealed Simon was desperate for Cheryl to return to the UK show.

A source said: "Cheryl is part of 'The X Factor' family. Formal discussions have yet to take place but if she wants to come back she would be welcome with open arms."

Despite falling out last year over Cheryl's controversial US axing, the pair have since made up and Simon has admitted he wants her to resume her judging role.

When asked if he wanted her to return, Simon said: "For sure, if she wanted - 1,000%. I think she probably misses me."
