Performers join up for charity Twitter single

Some 140 volunteers, including singers, musicians and photographers, will join forces today to launch the first ever charity single to be recorded using Twitter.

Everyone involved in the project was sourced through the social networking site after organiser Brenda Drumm tweeted the idea a few weeks ago.
