RTE to bring Masterchef to Ireland

Masterchef Ireland and the Secret Millionaire are among the shows in RTE's new line-up.

The autumn-winter schedule, launched today, also includes singing talent show 'The Voice' which has been a hit overseas.

RTE says it will deliver morethan 110 new and returning Irish-produced series and documentaries in the coming season.

Managing director of television Glen Killane said Masterchef on RTE Two was a particularly big deal for the station, as it had been Australia's most popular programme for years.
