Moss expected to marry fiancé Hince today

The world’s press will descend on a small English village today amid reports supermodel Kate Moss is about to tie the knot with her rockstar fiance Jamie Hince.

No details have been officially released about the venue but it has been reported the wedding will happen at a 12th-century church near Moss' country home in the Cotswolds in England.

The couple, who were pictured together at Glastonbury last week, are rumoured to be planning a festival-themed bash, with celebrations lasting for three days.

Among the expected guests are photographer Mario Testino and fashion designers Stella McCartney and Dame Vivienne Westwood.

According to the The Times, Moss, who met The Kills guitarist in 2007, will take her vows in St Margaret’s Parish Church, close to her home in the village of Little Faringdon, near Lechlade in England.

The reception and wedding party will then take place in a series of marquees which have been erected behind the model’s mansion, it is understood, with an 8ft metal fence outlining the perimeter of her estate.

Security guards have been brought in to keep the paparazzi at bay and local residents have been given passes to allow them through road blocks that will ring the village, the paper claimed.

Reports also suggest that Hince has broken tradition and appointed band member Alison Mosshart as his Best Woman.

Moss shot to fame when she appeared in The Face magazine while still a teenager. Her modelling career, which has seen her become the face of brands including Chanel and Calvin Klein, has earned her millions she added another string to her bow in 2006 when she worked with high street chain Topshop to create a fashion range.

But success has not come without controversy. Her waifish looks saw her condemned as the face of so-called heroin chic in the mid 1990s amid fears the trend promoted drug use and anorexia.

In 2005, she issued a public apology following allegations of cocaine abuse after a newspaper published pictures of her allegedly snorting the drug in a music studio with then boyfriend Pete Doherty.

Other old flames include actor Johnny Depp and Lemonheads singer Evan Dando. In 2002, she gave birth to a daughter, Lila Grace, with then partner Jefferson Hack.
