Dannii Minogue denies split reports

Former 'X Factor' judge Dannii Minogue and boyfriend Kris Smith insisted today they remain “committed to their relationship” after reports that they had split.

The 39-year-old and her partner of three years have a baby son, Ethan, who is 11 months old.

They released a statement which said: “We’re happy to be back at home in Melbourne together as a family. We are committed to our relationship and Ethan as always.”

The Daily Mirror reported today that the couple had been living apart for seven weeks and had written a number of Twitter entries about love.

According to the newspaper, Minogue wrote: “Never chase love. If it isn’t given freely by another person, it’s not worth having.”

Smith Tweeted: “You don’t know what you’ve got ’til it’s gone.” The entries were later deleted.

Minogue was a popular judge on reality series 'The X Factor' but quit earlier this month, saying that filming clashed with her commitments on another series, 'Australia’s Got Talent'.
