Jedward to perform sixth at Eurovision final

Ireland will be the sixth country to perform at Saturday's grand final of the Eurovision Song Contest.

Jedward will join nine other semi-finalists voted in from last night's event, as well as the 15 others already selected from the first semi-final, and the big five group.

At a press conference held after last night's event, the running order for Saturday's final was announced. An act's position on the night is often believed to influence voter preferences.

Experts said number 17 would have been the best location for the twins, and their song 'Lipstick'.

The Dublin twins beat off stiff competition in last night's semi final in Dusseldorff, to get through to the final and thanked the media for their coverage of them.
