Stereophonics working on new material
Stereophonics are recording their new album in Europe.
The 'Dakota' group have written many tracks about their Welsh roots, but frontman Kelly Jones promises their eighth record will be a "bit different" and will hopefully have a foreign flavour to it.
Speaking at the launch of rock group AC/DC's 'Live at River Plate' DVD premiere in London, Jones said: "The album is really good so far. We've been in the studio for a few weeks and we're off to Europe next week to do some more recording.
"The style is a bit different, we're doing some stuff for films so you'll have to wait and see."
The singer and guitarist also said he finds it "f*****g unbelievable" how AC/DC have enjoyed an almost 40-year career.
"For a band to be doing that for as long as they've been doing it ... is f*****g unbelievable," said Jones.
"They are one of my favourite bands I've ever seen since I was a kid. I'm the biggest AC/DC fan in the country."
'Live at River Plate' - which features a filmed concert in Buenos Aires, Argentina, as part of AC/DC's 'Black Ice' Tour - is out now.
