Dylan to play Cork's Marquee
The legendary Bob Dylan will play Cork's Marquee venue on Thursday, June 16.
He last played the Marquee in 2006. Tickets go on sale at 9am next Monday.
Meanwhile Welsh sex symbol Tom Jones will be making his marquee debut this summer when he performs here on June 19.
Tickets for the charismatic 71-year-old star’s show are expected to sell out when they go on sale on Thursday.
Jones who has sold more than 100 million records and who has had massive hits with It’s Not Unusual and She’s a Lady will be joined at the Live at the Marquee series by other big names like Paul Simon, Imelda May and Westlife who are returning to the popular venue.
Promoter Peter Aiken made the announcements in Cork this morning.
Westlife return to Cork for a show on Saturday July 9. Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday.
Paul Simon, who played the Marquee in 2008, will return on Tuesday, June 21, with tickets on sale at 9am next Tuesday, March 15.
Also announced today were extra dates for Imelda May on Friday, June 17. Her show on June 23 has already sold out. Tickets for the new show will go on sale at 9am on Thursday.
