Taylor's condition improving

Elizabeth Taylor’s health is improving, but the Oscar winner must remain under observation in a Los Angeles hospital, her publicist said.

Jamie Cadwell said the 78-year-old actress, who is being treated for symptoms of congestive heart failure, “has continued to show great improvement, and her family and friends are very pleased with her progress”.

He said Taylor would remain under observation at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre “for the time being”. She was admitted more than a week ago.
