Des Bishop's father dies after battle with cancer
The father of Irish/American comedian Des Bishop has died following a year long battle with lung cancer.
Michael Bishop was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer in November 2009.
Des Bishop's national tour of 'My Dad Was Nearly James Bond' is postponed, until further notice.
The comedian is asking that his privacy be respected at this difficult time.
