Rowling donates €12m to multiple sclerosis research clinic
JK Rowling has donated £10m (€12m) to set up a new multiple sclerosis research clinic.
The Harry Potter author said the clinic, to be based at the University of Edinburgh, would become a world centre for excellence in its field.
It will be named after Rowling's mother Anne, who suffered from MS and died at the age of 45.
