Vanessa Feltz is set to appear in 'Ultimate Big Brother'.
The TV star - who had a breakdown in 'Celebrity Big Brother' when she was a contestant in 2001 - is preparing to return to the house for the two-week reality show special.
A 'Big Brother' source told The Sun newspaper: "We want the final couple of weeks to be memorable TV. You don't get more memorable than Vanessa - her on-screen meltdown was TV-gold."
It is not yet known whether she will be a contestant for the full time run of the show - which starts tonight, and ends on September 10 - or whether she will just make an appearance.
As well as Vanessa, Katie Price's husband Alex Reid - who won this year's celebrity version of the show - is also reportedly planning to re-enter the compound tonight after reconsidering a £150,000 offer from 'Big Brother' bosses.
The couple's friend told the Daily Star newspaper: "It's too good an opportunity for Alex to pass up."
Alex had previously said he would be unable to take part in the show because he is training hard for a fight against Tom 'Kong' Watson on September 25.
Meanwhile, former 'Big Brother' star Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace, who came third in the seventh series, has declined an offer to appear in the programme, because she is currently working on launching her movie career with upcoming spoof film 'Anuvahood' - also starring Jamie Winstone and Adam Deacon.
She said: "Whilst 'Big Brother' was an amazing experience and helped open a lot of doors for me, I feel that I am on to the next chapter of my life and am excited to be part of this film with an amazing cast."
'Ultimate Big Brother' will include a mix of stars to have previously appeared in the reality show and its celebrity spin-off over the past decade.
Pop star Preston and his ex-wife Chantelle Houghton - who met on the show back in 2006, married that same year and divorced in 2007 - are set to be reunited live on air in the new series.
They are expected to join series one bad boy 'Nasty' Nick Bateman, series five winner Nadia Almada, 'Big Brother Two' winner Brian Dowling and singer Coolio.
