Three new wannabes have entered the 'Big Brother' house after housemates were forced to choose them out of a possible six.

The new housemates - professional boxer JJ, make-up artist Jo and sales assistant Laura - were picked after housemates saw their audition videos.

Almost instantly the girls seemed to like Jo, the first potential housemate to be shown, but the group was quieter when each housemate revealed who they would like to nominate for eviction, with Rachel being picked by a couple of them.

JJ said he'd nominate Rachel because "her Scouse voice really grates on me", and Laura admitted that she found Corin "a bit irritating".

John James took charge of the situation by making housemates raise their hands for their choices, and chose JJ, Jo and Laura, who hugged each other as they were booed by the crowd outside.

Any disagreement among the housemates over their choices was swept aside as the trio entered the house immediately, and received a warm welcome.

Earlier in the live show, Corin and Andrew sang in front of the live audience.

The pair were chosen by Pineapple Dance Studios star Andrew Stone to perform 'Dirty Dancing hit (I've Had) The Time Of My Life' at the house door to 1,000 audience members who would normally be expecting an eviction.

The pair struggled at the start, with Corin missing her cue, and in truth they were terribly off-key - but the enthusiastic crowd helped them along as they swayed their arms.

'Big Brother' then informed the housemates they had successfully passed this week's shopping task after their Glee video received more than 121,000 hits on the website.
