Controversial beauty queen weds

Former Miss California Carrie Prejean is now Mrs Kyle Boller, after marrying the Oakland Raiders quarterback at a San Diego resort.

The San Diego Union Tribune said the dethroned beauty queen and the 29-year-old quarterback tied the knot late on Friday in a private ceremony at the Grand Del Mar.

The 23-year-old bride made headlines last year after making remarks during the Miss USA pageant that marriage should be between a man and a woman.
