'Scrubs' sitcom 'set for axe'

It appears that hit US sitcom 'Scrubs' has been cancelled.

The long-running US sitcom has been going for nine series, but according to Entertainment Weekly, owner ABC is not interested in a 10th.

The last season had an entirely new cast, and even star Zach Braff admitted on his Facebook page that "it didn't work".
