Holden 'amazed' by regurgitating talent contestant
Amanda Holden is “fascinated” by a regurgitating contestant on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ tonight.
The 39-year-old star – who has to hide her face behind her hands as contestant Stevie Starr, 47, swallows numbered coins before bringing them back up in an order decided by the audience – tells him afterwards that she is amazed by his talent.
She tells him: "To be honest I didn't think I was going to like it. But I did find it fascinating. I couldn't take my eyes off you."
Stevie - who calls himself The Regurgitator - tells the judges: "It sounds disgusting, but let me show you."
For the finale, he successfully swallows and brings back up a billiard ball, leaving the judges on the ITV reality show – Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan - recoiling in horror.
Following the performance, Piers adds: "It was pretty compelling to watch, pretty weird, and made me gag a few times."
Stevie – who has been swallowing objects for 20 years – has previously appeared on a number of TV shows across the world, but is hoping to make his big break in the UK.
A ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ source told The Sun newspaper: "The judges hadn't seen Stevie before and are amazed by him."
