More to ‘Remember Me’ than meets the eye

Teen heart-throb Pattinson and star of the ‘Twilight’ films raises his game for this romance and shows promise for a solid career, though plenty of critics have already dismissed this film as fluff.

It’s more than a fluffy romance since it touches on loss and tragedy as Tyler (Pattinson) meets Ally (de Ravin) and falls in love … with problems looming on the horizon.

Tyler’s parents have divorced and Ally’s mother has been murdered, thus two people with their own baggage must find strength from one another.

There is much to commend what is a bitter-sweet story.
