'Extraordinary Measures' stirs up emotions

Based on a true story this emerges as a touching and harrowingly revealing drama about the search by John and Aileen Crowley (Fraser and Droeger) for the cure for their two sons’ genetic disorder.

It is a story of greed in that the people who emerge poorly from it are the drugs companies who place more emphasis on profits than on finding a way of producing much-needed cures.

Harrsison, as the doctor the Crowleys turn to, produces a sterling performance in a film that will leave you fuming as the frantic search continues.
