Klass: Marriage is easy

Myleene Klass said getting married is “no big deal”.

The ‘Popstar To Operastar’ host is not rushing to get married to fiance Graham Quinn, because she is happy with her home life and baby daughter Ava, two.

She said: “I like how things are. I’m happy! It has been ten years - one day we’ll get married. It’s no big deal.

“My main thing is that Ava is happy and the family unit is happy. No dramas here, which is ironic, since I’m on a show about opera!

“I have a happy home life. You do everything you can to create that.”

Myleene also said she doesn’t want a showbiz lifestyle, so Ava stays grounded.

She added to Star magazine: “I don’t need glitz, glamour. It’s nice when it’s there, but we all know it’s smoke and mirrors. You’ve got to get a grip on what’s real. I want Ava to get that from her mum – not have some crazy mum who’s on diets all the time and worried about what she looks like in the mirror

“My weight has gone up, down, up, down, like any other woman.

“How I gauge my success is when I look at Ava and she speaks and has good vocab and nice behaviour – not that she’s aiming to marry a footballer or something crazy.”
