Ivanova 'feared she would kill' Wood
Katia Ivanova feared she would kill Ronnie Wood.
The 21-year-old beauty – whose romance with the Rolling Stones rocker ended last month following his alleged assault on her - said their rows got so fierce, she worried one of them would have “accidentally” caused serious injury or even death to the other.
She told the Daily Star newspaper: “If we had carried on together and I hadn’t got help, I think one of us could have accidentally killed the other.
“I imagined us having a huge row and me smashing a bottle to cut my wrists then hitting him and cutting his hand so badly he couldn’t play guitar anymore.
“I would be forever known as the one who ruined the Rolling Stone. I knew something really bad was going to happen.
“I wasn’t in a good state of mind and anything could have happened like him falling down the stairs or me breaking a bone. It was really destructive.”
Katia hopes Ronnie, 62, will now change his ways as he never believed she would end their relationship, and says the split has made her feel better than ever.
She added: “He was convinced that I would never be able to leave him, he thought he had me wrapped up.
“But I have left him and am doing much better. It’s a wake-up call for him.
“I feel strong, it takes a lot for me to break down now, I am feeling good about myself or the first time in a long time.”
