Clayton secures extension of order on ex-assistant's assets
U2 bass guitarist Adam Clayton has secured a continuation of a court order restraining his former personal assistant from reducing her assets below €1.8m.
It is alleged that Carol Hawkins of Crannagh Road, Dublin 14 misappropriated funds in that amount.
The High Court heard claims last month that she bought holidays and withdrew money, using the bassist's accounts.
The court heard today that both parties have agreed to extend the order to allow for the transfer of documents between them over the coming weeks.
