Keating to present UK radio show
Boyzone star Ronan Keating has landed his own radio show in the UK, it was announced today.
Keating – who has also had a successful solo career – will front a Sunday show for London station Magic 105.4.
Keating, 32, will broadcast his first two-hour show from 2pm this Sunday, based on his own and listener’s choices.
The singer, who was mourning the loss of friend and Boyzone bandmate Stephen Gateley last year, has been a guest presenter for the station but this is the first time he has had a regular show.
Keating, currently preparing for his tour this spring, has sold more than 22 million albums around the world and has scored hits such as 'When You Say Nothing At All' and 'Life Is A Rollercoaster'.
He said: “I’m really excited about getting behind the mic and choosing my favourite tunes to play to the listeners. It’s an opportunity to share my love of music with the fans, and show everyone I am not only a singer, but a broadcaster as well."
