Welch wants 'brood of children'
Florence Welch wants a “brood of children” in the next decade.
The Florence and the Machine singer is setting herself goals on what she wants to achieve in the next 10 years, and starting a family and furthering her career are high on her list of priorities.
She said: “In 10 years I’ll be 33, which is still quite young. Hopefully by then I’ll have a couple of albums under my belt and a brood of children.”
Florence is still astonished by how successful 2009 was for her and says the last 12 months have been “incredible”.
She added: “I really liked playing the John Peel Stage this year at Glastonbury. Being nominated for a Mercury Prize this year was amazing. Doing my own headline tour, releasing the album and having people sing it back to me was really exciting. When you see the reaction people are having – it’s really incredible.”
