Irish film industry welcomes Budget

The Audiovisual Federation today welcomed the Budget’s continued funding for the Irish Film Board and that no change was made to the film taxation incentive Section 481.

Andrew Lowe, Director of Element Pictures and Chairman of the Audiovisual Federation said: “The decision to retain the Irish Film Board and maintain its funding broadly at 2009 levels is a significant expression of support from Government for our industry.
