The Stig launches Irish leg of Top Gear Live tour
TV celebrity The Stig was in Dublin today to officially launch the Irish leg of the Top Gear Live World Tour.
Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, James May and the mysterious test driver will bring Top Gear Live, sponsored by Brown Thomas, to the RDS in Dublin, featuring a spectacular new show from Thursday, December 3, to Sunday, December 6, 2009.
Top Gear Live 2009 is set to feature flaming rally cars, extreme underground street racers, and cars which change colour in the blink of an eye.
The audience will experience the world’s first attempt at an indoor loop the loop and exciting sequences featuring The Stig, who will be leading a troop of international stunt drivers via a mix of hand gestures, sonic pulses and Morse code, showing audiences the ultimate in precision driving.
New to Top Gear Live this year are a number of interactive zones, including Dream Rides, which offers visitors a chance to take a ride in one of the world’s hottest supercars. The Dunlop Tyre Challenge will offer visitors the chance to beat the experts and test their skills under the watchful eye of the Dunlop Motorsport Crew.
To celebrate the launch, Brown Thomas has released a number of limited edition ‘diamond tickets’ to the show.
The package includes a €50 Brown Thomas Menswear gift card with every ticket purchased, as well as premier access to the Top Gear Live Show, an exclusive Paddock Tour plus access to the VIP Suite and extensive Motor Arena.
